ReplyDeleteMy Auntie Robin, who has no kids but is often taking her grand-nephews and nieces for outings and sleep-overs, said to me once, "What amazes me about mothers is the constancy of the job". I gave her a hug.
I love this. I love that Carolyn Hax was so honest and said it straight. If only there were more voices like this.
